I've been an artist for my entire life. I was fascinated with the world of comic art for as far back as I can remember. Great superheros, villains, and there always were tasty lady characters to draw as well. I can remember being 8 0r 9 and trying to capture the "chrome" look of the Silver Surfer,  or the wet stickiness of Spiderman's web.

Tattooing runs deep in my family. My Grandfather, Joe Hanaratty, was a WWII sailor, and died with more tattoos on him than  I may ever have. My Uncle, also named Joe Hanratty, is a Viet Nam combat veteran. He came home with a bunch of ink and a sick old school chopper. The day I saw him with that ink, on that bike, my fate was sealed. I knew then that I would be heavily tattooed. My drawing went from superheros to dragons and skulls. I got my first tattoo when i was 15, and never looked back.

I,ve had a lotta heros along the way. Art teachers, life teachers, spiritual teachers, I thank you all.21 years later and I still tattoo everyday. I put everything I have into each tattoo, and my shop is the nicest atmosphere around. No punks, no freaks, no "rock star" tattooists, just friendly service at fair prices. As I already said: let the work speak for itself.

Remember, if the shop is lit up at 2:00 am, and you hear my machines buzzin away, it's just an old family tradition.  I,d like to take a minute to thank the people who've taught me this art, Willie, Charlie, Mad Jack and Clay, of Tropical Tattoo,  all the old timers, and Tattoo Janet and Crazy Fuckin Larry, I'd have never lasted in this business with out you all.    

We always use hospital grade autoclave sterilization, and follow "Universal Precautions" in all of our procedures. A sterilization log is available, and we ALWAYS open  all packages right in front of you.
